I had a nuvi 1370LT that was stolen last month. I loved the European maps, but alas, it is gone. I'm looking at the 2360LMT as a replacement because I don't see a 2370LMT. Two questions:
> Do any of the nuvi's with Euro maps come with a lifetime maps option?
> Can the same Euro maps that came with the 1370 be added to a 2360?
One more thing - there's a great feature on Mapquest where you can click to drag and drop your routemap to customize it, such as to avoid something or to use a favorite road. Does any nuvi have a feature like this?

Hello Bob,

In North America you can get lifetime updates with North American units only at this time. You can load Europe maps on any Garmin Nuvi. Here is a link to the DVD version that is updateable but locked to one unit. You will also need a memory card because you should load the internal memory to be safe.

Some older nuvi's have the feature you are looking for. We do not know if the new 2360 will have the custom avoidance feature. It will have the ability to create a custom route around places you dont want to go. That feature is called Trip Planner. you can find that in the current nuvi 14XX and nuvi 37XX series units.

So what about the Garmin Nuvi 2370LMT shown here:

Does this not have lifetime maps for both N America and Europe?

If it does do you know what the Garmin Product Code for this unit is?

Hello Nick,

At this time Garmin is only going to offer a Nuvi2370LT. It comes with life time traffic but not lifetime maps.

The product you are looking at is a nuvi 2360lmt that comes with North America only.
