Traffic icon disappear after a few days of use. It was there and suddenly gone. At first I thought it's because there's no traffic. But I drove it then to 401 with heavy traffic. It still not there. Anyone knows why ?

Hello Richard,

It is possible that when you were not seeing the icon your power cable was not inserted fully, also if the reciever was in a bad location in your vehicle it could cause the traffic reception to be affected. If none of this works try giving the unit a firmware update using Garmins WebUpdater program

I just received my lmt and I dont see the traffic icon at all? do I need to buy any new accessories to get the traffic feature? pls let me know. thx

Hello,

Are you in an area that gets traffic coverage? Make sure your in your vehicle with the traffic cable plugged in and receiving power. Give it about 20 minutes the first time you try it.
