Why do I not get highway and street speed limit info while I am in Toronto?

This answer does not make sense. If I wish to go from downtown Toronto to my home 45 minutes north my garmin gives me an arrival time which would require that it knows the speed limits of the whole route including surface roads and highways.
I think there must be another reason?
I pay the same for my maps as U.S. customer's but don't get the same service. Why?

Hello Fedora,

I apologize about that answer for it is not accurate. Automatic Speed limits are not available in Canada in that unit. In newer units like the nuvi 2360lmt you can have speed limits show in Canada but you must set them manually at first.

We will not get the same services in Canada as the USA and speed is one of them. There is no given reason except, maybe the data may not be complete or available. However we do get the odd feature the USA does not. Please feel free to call us before purchasing so we can let you know what features are available in Canada.

Cheers
Jordan

Jordan thanks for your reply.
I am looking at the 2360, I'm just waiting for my 760 to give me a reason.
