You will be able to do handsfree calling with the sony phones.

The 1490LMT is 99% compatiable with the Vivaz Pro (I have these two) but there is one exception. When you select a destination the voice prompt volume goes to maximum but if you adjust the volume up or down after it will go back to normal level. I check with Garmin Support with this issue and we have concluded it is the model of the phone. I found pairing with another phone the problem does not occur but I don't get the all the features with my older phone.

Second Garmin 3490 start to be crazy and reboot after connect to sony vivaz pro. First one was exchanged, but looks like was no reason for exchange.
