Is the powered suction cup mount with speaker included in the box or do I have to buy that separately?

Yes you will be provided with the suction mount in box when you purchase the 3790.

Please reread the original question. Is the STOCK suction mount that comes in the GPS box a POWERED mount w/ speakers, or a PASSIVE mount w/o speakers that you have to add a separate power cord direct to the GPS itself?

In other words does the power cord go to the MOUNT or GPS itself.

The powered mt is nice to just snap the GPS into the mount and NOT didle w/ inserting a power cable in before snapping the GPS into the holder. As I do with my Nuvi 660.
