Battery Life? 2.5h or 3h?

I've been doing some research for a new GPS and battery life is a factor for me so originally I ruled out 2350 and 2360 because they were listed as having only 2.5 hours of battery life. But most sites that sells GPS lists the GPSes to have 3 hours of battery life. Which one is correct

Hello Psymon,

The battery life will range anywhere from an hour to three hours. It will vary based on how bright you have the backlight. Realistically I would expect a 2 hour or less battery life based on having the backlight at a easy to read level.

The 2360LMT is listed as 2.5 hours on the Garmin site. There is a new device coming out called the 2460LMT, It is exactly the same in all published specs except for duo-orientation and 3 hour battery life...AND larger dimension by around 1/2 inch width (same width X height aspect ratio)....although the same number of pixels.

The 2360LMT has just been released this week. You will have to wait a little while for the 2460LMT which is not released.
