I have just purchased a Nuvi 3760LMT. Nice unit, great features, incredible screen and touch functions. On the down side, when using the traffic feed Garmin pushes coupons that flash up on the screen (ie: Red Lobster offers). This is an incredibly annoying feature, and how dare advertisements be pushed at users when we don't even want, nor care about them. What a cheap marketing tactic! How can I defeat this function, yet still keep my traffic feed/reports in place?

Hello Jeff,

The advertisements pay for the FREE traffic updates. You can avoid advertisements by turning off the FREE traffic or purchasing a new traffic cable and paying a subscription fee for the service.
