Just purchased and yes I'm impressed with the actual unit but I must say the calculating of routes is very slow. Any suggestions on speeding this up. My old 770 was ten times faster than this. From Ottawa ON to Lee MA took almost five minutes to calculate. Is this normal?

Edit:
I timed it and it actually took 11 minute to calculate this route. Why????

Hello Leaping Lemur,

If you have traffic and other features enabled it will take longer to calculate a long route. Also it will depend on your other route settings. Please try playing around with the different options available to you. Also be sure update your units firmware for best performance.
