Does the 2460 LMT have the ability to load in a preplan route from your computer using say map source dvd. or from a list of gps coordinates listed in a magazine or from Mad Maps routes. I am replacing my streetpilot 2610 .I wonder if you can order updated map source dvd as mine is quite out of date it appears the dvd does not come with the 2460 LMT Thanks for your help Gary

Dear ChiWaWa,
Thank you for contacting Garmin International and I would be happy to help you with this.

Yes, you can program routes on your computer and transfer them into this Nuvi device. You can do this by using the Garmin program called Mapsource. MapSource can be installed during the complimentary map update that is included with the purchase of any Nuvi device.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

With Best Regards,
