I currently have a Nuvi 360 which probably needs an updated map for North America. Do I need an update that is specific to my unit?

Hello James,

Here is a link to the update that will be compatible with your GPS unit. http://www.gpscity.com/garmin-numaps-north-america-lifetime-updates.html

I did the update recently and found several routing errors, and this was just in Winnipeg, Canada, making me severely question the $94 expenditure I made. Testing the new map, it tried to take me *far* from the fastest/most direct route, and on another route would not 'recalculate' to the parallel road I used. Is there a way to inform Garmin? Is there a way to revert to my old map?

Hello Peter,

you will need to use the map reporter Tool on navteq.com/ Navteq makes the maps for major North American GPS Manufacturers like Garmin and Magellan.
