More Accurate Truck Routing on 465T?

I currently own a 465T. Other than the larger screen size, is there any difference in the truck route mapping of the previous model? I am not impressed with the "lack" of accuracy of the previous generation & am not interested in throwing more money away.

Is there any plans for Garmin to aquire a more accurate, updated version of truck routing for the 465T? desperate 2 know

Hello Burn,

In Canada we will not get the same level of detail as the USA because at this time our country is not fully covered for truck data. The mapping will not change between the models much except for version it is shipped with. The both use the NTTS truck data set with Navteq street mapping.

Hello,

They already have the better DB for the USA. The data in Canada is the best you can get from any GPS but has a lot of work to be done. As the data becomes available Garmin will update their units. Keep in mind the data in Canada is limited compared to the USA.

The dezl's do included setup for HazMat, height and weight. Can you elaborate on the van/tank portion of your question?
