I work for L-3 and we retrieve broken helicopters from fields and back roads/woods areas. We are looking for an automotive type GPS that will allow us to enter GPS coordinates as well as addresses to locate the broken helicopters. Will the Garmin 265WT allow this? If not, which unit will allow it.

The nuvi 265wt would work but is discontinued and no longer available. At this time I recommend the nuvi 2360. I would also suggest Topo maps for the unit. They will have more rural roads and back country information that will help you get to the heli quicker.
