I have dial up only option so I would like to have the unit you ship to me with the latest map update. Can that be arranged?

Hello Lou,

This unit will have one of the latest updates. Garmin updates the maps four times per year and it is not written on the box what version is in the unit. You get one free update to get you the latest map but you will need to do it yourself. You will also need to update the firmware often. In this case we recommend you use a friends computer with high speed internet.
