). Can I successfully activate and configure nuvis speech recognitionin
the warm comfort of our house rather than outside in the car?
2). What is the process for exchanging a voice other than mine after mine
has been "recognized"?
3). Can nuvi be programmed to recognize two voices instead of just one or is
it one voice programmed at one time?
4). Can nuvi remember a route I travel that is different than shortest route
and different from fastest route? i.e. is this what bread crumbing refers
to?-can I save the new route?
5). What would I have to see on screen to indicate a need for calibrating
the screen. (Mine seems to be working fine and I haven't tried to calibrate
screen?.
As you have probably sensed, this is my first GPS. I would really appreciate
your help.

) Yes, you can use the unit just as you would in the car inside your house.

2) It does not matter whose voice is talking to the unit, it does not recognize a specific voice. Anyone's voice will be able to use the unit.

3) Please see the answer above.

4) No, the unit will not be able to remember a route that you travel. You can create custom routes though on your computer or on the unit itself. Just make multiple waypoints in one route, the way you want to go and the unit will route that way for you.

5) If you notice the screen not working as promptly as normal, or if you press the screen in a specific spot and the unit selects a different area then you should calibrate the screen.
