Can or how do I get European Maps installed on the Garmin before I order it.

Hello Wendy,
You need to purchase the maps on DVD or SD card. DVD is recommended because you can update it. Instructions come with the software on how to load it.

With the DVD you install it on your computer then using Map Install transfer it to the unit.

The SD card is simply inserted into the unit then you are done.
