Does the GPS Garmin 295 have a fuse? It worked fine last week, it is hardwired into the plane with an ariel, will not power on, took it home and put new batteries in it and still will not power on. Could we send it to Garmin to be fixed?

The unit doesnt have a fuse in the unit to our knowledge. Best bet is to contact Garmin for they will know the inside and out of that product. It is a little older so you may need to investigate a new one. In the mean time here is Garmins phone number. It is best to phone Garmin so they can help trouble shoot over the phone. 1-800-800-1020
