Hi there! just bought a garmin aera500.. just want to know how long will it take for me to fully charge my garmin aera500? I'm just using the computer to charge my gps. Is it okay to charge my aera500 using the computer? Thanks very much!

A computer will not charge as quickly as using the AC or DC chargers. Some computer USB ports may not charge the unit at all.

Please see Page 2 of the manual for charging instructions.

You should charge it for around four hours when you first get the device.
