Hello Manfred,

Check the emission sticker on the vehicle, usually found under the hood, which should indicate OBD II, EOBD, or EOBD2.
The same 16 pin connector is used for the different diagnostics systems but the pin layout is different for each and will communicate different data.

Vehicle Compatibility: ecoRoute hd will work on all vehicles manufactured after 1996 in the US (1998 in Canada) with the following ODBII systems: J1850 VPW, ISO 9141-2, J1850 PWM, KWP2000, ISO14230, CAN

Cheers,

Hello Mike,

No your unit is not compatible. You need at least a 1360LMT to do ecoroute HD. Ecoroute requires a bluetooth connection to communicate.

Cheers

Hi is there a difference between the European ecoRoute HD (sku 010-11380-10) and the North American ecoRoute HD (sku 010-11380-00)?

Hello flipperds,

The European ecoRoute HD (010-11380-10) is designed to be used on European vehicles because of the difference in the data connector pin layouts.
Check the emission sticker on the vehicle, usually found under the hood, which should indicate OBD II (North American), EOBD (European), or EOBD2 (European).
The same 16 pin connector is used for the different diagnostics systems but the pin layout is different for each and will communicate different data.

Cheers,

Hello Homer,

The Nuvi 3750 does not have bluetooth so it is not compatible with the ecoRoute hd Cable.

Hi, just purchased an ecoroute HD, I have software version 4.30 on my 3790LMT, am I right to believe that it should pickup the ecoroute HD with this patch level? The green light blinks 3 times on the unit but when I click on the ecoroute icon on my GPS unit, it does not discover anything. have done a hard reset. Any other thoughts, bought this earlier this week would love for it to work...
