Will this Split Adapter Cable work to power a Dakota 20 and a Zumo 220?

I have a Zumo 220 mounted on my left handlebar and it's powered by a garmin cable from the motorcycles battery. I'd like to mount my Dakota 20 on my right handlebar and power both GPSs with the split cable plugged into the existing supply cable. Will this work?

These cables are for charging and may put the unit into mass storage mode. The Y-cable may not be suitable for operating the two units while plugged in. It is a new part that we can test as soon as it is released to verify.
