Works With Garmin 265T? Includes Traffic?

Hello. I'm looking to direct wire my Garmin 265T power to my motorcycle. I' also like to get the traffic function working. I know that the regular cigarette lighter power supply includes a traffic receiver.

Will this power supply work with my 265T? Does this product include a traffic receiver? If not, is there a direct wire lead for the 265T that includes a traffic receiver?

Hello Des,

You need to use the included cigarette light adapter with Traffic to get the traffic signals. There is no direct wire traffic cable the can supply the signals plus power. If you are running off of battery only the GTM-12 will work. However you can put a female cigerette lighter port on your bike.

There is one power cable we carry that has traffic integrated and has two ends for power (also has ends for data, but you won't use them). You can see it here:

I'm trying to locate a simple 12 cable to hook to my accessory terminal on my KTM. I need it for the Nuvi 750. I have one on my Goldwing but want on for the other bike but i can't find one.
