I saw in one of the reviews for this kit that it will work with the GDB 50 charger/MSN Reciever. The parts in the picture look like they will work with this charger, can you confirm this? Thanks!

Hello Andy,

No it will not work with the GDB 50. You will need to buy a whole new cable. We recommend a basic cable without MSN because MSN will be discontinued at the end of 2011.

Thanks Jordan! I was aware MSN was being discontinued, but was hoping for a "cheap" fix of my current cable. Will definitely go with a basic power cable if I don't find a repair kit for the GDB 50.

What would the basic power cable be for a Nuvi 780? Since the GDB 50 is discontinued, I don't know what cable will work with my unit.
