I was wondering if this cable is compatible with a Nuvi 500 GPS on a 12 volt motorcycle system, or is it specifically designed for the Garmin Zumo. If it is not compatible, is there on that is???

Hello Texagander,
This Cable is made specifically for the Zumo 550. We have a cable and mount made for the Nuvi 500 series. Here is the link

To complete the kit you need a RAM mount to attach to your vehicle. The most common for a bike is RAM-B-231 with a RAM-B-201 Arm. You can enter those PN in our search.

To find compatible accessories you can go to the Nuvi 550 product page and then click on the "Accessories" tab. All compatible accessories can be found there. I thought I would pass that on just in-case you are in need of something else for your Nuvi550.

this cable is compatible with a Garmin 60CSX?
both have 4 pins right?
