What amp rating is the in line fuse on this 550 motorcycle power supply?

I currently have a battery tender SAE connection running from my battery and wanted to put a SAE connection on the 550 power cord for quick disconnect. The inline fuse on the SAE is 7.5amp. will this work for the 550? Or too much amp for it?

Hello Will,

7.5 Amps would be way too high for it. The fuse on the power cable that comes with the Garmin zumo 550 is 2 amps.
