I ordered from and have received the following from GPS City the folling:

BRACKET MOUNT, NUVI 6XX SERIES GPS

The bracket fits my Garmin 660 without any problems. However, the original cigarette lighter adapter does not fit the new bracket mount. Thus, I need a cigarette lighter adapter that will fit the above mount.

Is the Garmin Straight 18 pin Cigarette Lighter Adapter what I need?

Hello Jack,

The original cable will still plug into the replacement mount. Do you have the orientation correct? Maybe your cable is broken. You can find a replacement cable on the accessory page for the Nuvi 660. Here is a link.
