Can the unit be used to charge while driving?

Hello Jiggs,

If your car has the appropriate AC charging outlet then you would be able to use this cable. But generally you just use the 12v power supplied.

my question is i have a nuvi 260 and the original cord allowed me to charge and view at the same time. that cord is lost and the replacement was purchased at wal-mart. this cord only allows you to charge without viewing. is there a cord like the original?
