I have owned my Garmin Zumo 550 for several years. Last summer the screen became scratched and the film started peeling. The touch screen no longer is funtional as a result. Here is my question. If I apply the Zagg invisibleSHIELD to my screen, will the touch screen function become operable or would I need to replace my unit?

The screen protector will only protect the zumo screen from scratches and will not fix any current problems. You may need to get your unit repaired or replaced.
