How to stick this to the car dashboard?

My wife bought the self leveling coffee locking suction cup, but it does not stay mounted on the dash. The dash has a pebbled surface. What do I need to do. If it does not stay on it is basically useless. Help would be appreciated. Nowhere in the description did it say that it was unusable on a car dash if the surface was pebbled/textured. Most dashes on cars are. Defective product???

That is correct this is made for the windshield or a smooth surface such as fiberglass. You could try a dash disk to see if that will work for you.
