Can the temperature data be logged along with the track information so that it can be reviewed later and saved with the track?

Certain Garmin units such as the fitness devices including the new Garmin fenix, will log the temperature data in the tracklog file, along with latitude, longitude, trackpoints and time.

Will it work with my 405CX, and if so, is that one of the fitness devices that will log the temps into Garmin Connect?
If it currently is not supported by the 405CX, will there be a Firmware update coming out to ensure compatibility?

At this time I could not find information stating if or when temperature will be available for the 405CX. That is a good suggestion for Garmin.

For the Oregon 450, Garmin say YES, but is NOT, the temperature data is not logged in the track file. Bug in the firmware? ... I dont know

We do not know either at this time. Everything should be fixed with a future firmware update
