Hi, does the Tempe have an on/off switch? (I don't think it does) whats the battery life if its always on, thanks

There is no power switch. To turn it off for storage I suggest removing the battery. The battery life will be up to one year.

If so that's great, I can fix it to the bike and just leave it running

I think this is not true. My original battery life was up to 6 months, max. (not continues use). I had to replaced it today :(

The battery life of up to one year is what Garmin has printed in the user manual.
Under real life conditions, batteries never last as long as they claim.

Sorry, I was wrong.

My Tempe seems to be broken. After a few battery change, my problem still exist. Sometimes transmits the data to the GPS, sometimes not. I bought it in the gpscity. What can I do?
