I received a replacement heart monitor that I have not been able to pair again with my original unit. Accdng to documentation the ubit will only pair once to prevent interference from other heart monitors that may be in proximity. Wouldn't this be the case with a replacement monitor? DO I need to restore factory settings in order tom pair with the new heart monitor? If so how do I do that?

I no longer have that unit available to walk you through the set-up of a new Heart rate monitor. There is a menu that will allow you to pair with a new Heart rate monitor without a reset. If you can not find the menu then doing a reset would probably work. Be sure to back up all data before reseting for you may lose your runs.

RESET
With the unit "OFF"
Press and keep holding the "MODE" and "POWER" button
When a prompt appears
Release the "POWER" and the "MODE" button
Select YES to rest
