I want to buy it for trai running so this watch looks perfect but on the manual I can't find the possibility to set up a page with "running info" like pace and HR.
Is there a start and stop function and the possibility to split an activity?
Now I use forerunner 610 or If I need advanced navigation features GPSMAP62... but is too big and you don't have a start, stop, split. You can only "save a track"

Hi Tommaso,

The Garmin Fenix can display data from your run. Lap time, overall time, distance and so on. While a great tool to have its not specifically running focused. It can't be set for interval training, virtual partners, or specific workouts. So no it wont be able to split an activity. With the Ant+ sensors set to "Always On" and the track intervals set to "Maximum" you can get accurate data on pace, and HR. You can set data fields to display both at once.

Thanks!

Thanks! Got my Fenix today.
Is correct for IT is not the best option, however you can manually define loops and set a page with loop time + loop distance + HR. So it can be done in a way.
I was planning to sell my FR610 but I will keep it.
For Trail Running this watch is a revolution. I am stunned.
