Why does this bundle not come with a bike mount? The bundle does come with a quick release strap the the GPS can come off your wrist quickly. The purpose of being able to take it off would be to move it quickly to somewhere else like a bike mount. There really isn't much of a savings in price without the bikemount.

This is a kit sold by Garmin I do not know why the bike mount is not included. You can wear the device on your wrist while riding, maybe that is why. I do not suggest this kit because the quick release should not be worn while swimming (unless in a pool). I have seen complaints that customers have lost their unit at the bottom of the lake using the quick release kit. (not verified) If the watch is not put back on the quick release properly it could come off.

I suggest using the regular kit with HR monitor. Here are the extra parts you will need to make your own triathlon kit.

UPDATE - There is a bike mount in the box. It is not listed on Garmins site but we will be adding it to our site to eliminate future confusion.

I would still recommend using the factory strap and not the quick release for I have seen complaints of it coming off the wrist when swimming. The person may of not put it on correctly but I have no way to confirm at this time
