I have a Edge 605 and would like to upgrade to an Edge 800. I already have the city navigator micro SD card. Is it your recommendation that I purchase as seperate items the Edge 800, cadence and heart rate monitors rather than the performance bundle? If so, do I understand from above that I then only have the white and black model available?

Hello Shortleg,

The edge 800 is only available in the one color scheme. I would suggest the bundle because it has all the parts you need.

Cheers
Jordan

Strangely, I come up with a higher price when buying the bundle compared to the accessoried independently, including the micro SD card with CityNavigation, Heart Rate monitor and Speed/Candence sensor. What am I missing?

Hi Jean,
I believe you are correct with the pricing, I'm not sure why Garmin has priced the units that way. Good thing you figured out the difference!
Thanks!

Is it still cheaper to build your own bundle or has Garmin changed this?

Its cheaper to build the bundle through GPSCity because our accessory pricing is great. Because prices vary it is best to add the parts you want to chart and check the difference for the items you need compared to the bundle.

Can you tell me the difference between the Edge 800 Bundle and simply buying the Edge 800? I see several price differences. I do not want to buy something only to wish I had bought a different item later.

The units are the same. the difference is the included bundle parts such as Heart rate monitor and cadence sensor. On each page the package contents will be listed so you know what will be included
