Your website says it's sold out - does that mean "discontinued" or just "sold out" and if so, will you be getting any more?

Hello Jerry,

We are currently sold out meaning that we may not get anymore. Depends if we can find some at a distributor or not. Because this unit is no longer in production you may want to look at a different unit than wait to see if we can find more Forerunner 305

Thanks for the reply GPS City. I think I'll wait to see if you can find some more. I've had a 305 for years and I think it's a great unit. I was thinking about getting a second one as a backup. What I like most about it is the timer start/stop function. It's a small thing but I find it extremely useful. I'll wait to see if you can get any more. If not, I guess I'll have to find something comparable that has a timer start/stop function. Thanks again.

Hello Jerry,

All the Forerunners have that timer feature for that starts the recording of your run or bike ride. I noticed we have a few overhauled ones on our site if you need something right away.

Cheers

I have a Garmin Forerunner 305 which is approximately 4 years old and tonight I ran with it on and on the drive home the numbers started flashing and jumping around.I turned if off and now it won't turn on or even charge. It was fully charged this afternoon before I ran and I was out for only an hour. Up until this point in time it always worked perfectly.
What do I need to do to get my Garmin up and working? Thx

Hi Scott from Dieppe.

Don't know why your question came to me. I've had one for several years and it's going just fine but I wouldn't have a hot clue how to your yours up and working. Maybe the guys from GPS City can tell you.

Hello Scott,

Please start a new post for new questions. As for your unit you may want to try a few things. First is to reset the watch manually. Hold the mode button in while powering the unit on. A prompt should come up aksing if you want to erase all user data. Select yes. Please note you will loose all your runs.

Next thing to try is an update. Download Garmin Webupdater and run it to see if the unit acts better afterwards.

If the above fail you will want to contact Garmin for their advice based on your symptoms. 1-800-800-1020

Jerry - because you posted the original question you will get emails when someone posts a message on this post. Just in case someone has an answer to your problem other that the GPS City staff

Cheers
