How often need it be charged? Will it last one or two full rounds? What if worn as watch when not playing golf? Does just wearing watch use battery as if I were using the GPS?

Here are the battery specs for the Approach from the overview page.

Battery life: 4 weeks (watch mode) 8 hours (GPS mode)

If you complete the round in less than 4 hours you can get two rounds out of the unit.

I recommend charging the Approach after each round if more than four hours each. After a day of golfing definitely charge the battery to make sure the unit is good to go for watch mode and a future game. To make sure you have a full charge for your game I also suggest charging it the day before a round if you can.

After that just maintain the battery level so it works for your use. If you are using it in watch mode charge it every couple weeks. If your golfing often try to keep the charge up for your next game.
