Hello, I'm looking for a low profile dashboard mounting solution for my new Tomtom Go 930. In the photo for this mount, the mount arm is straight up, but I'd like to pull that forward so that my GPS is both closer to me and lower. In order to do that, I'd obviously have to lower the arm forward, and I'm hoping low enough where the arm will be parallel with the dash, instead of perpendicular like in the photo. Is this possible with this mount? And if so, will that cause the GPS to fall forward during normal use? Hard accelleration? I'm worried about how much the center of gravity will change in the position I want to use. Do you happen to have any photos or videos of this mount with a Tomtom in this position? I didn't see one, but I watched a bunch and maybe just don't remember. Your videos are all top notch, by the way! :)

That will depend on the angle of your dash. If it slopes towards you it may fall when braking hard. The same will happen if it is up right but not as often.

I recommend using the Dash disk with the mount instead of the non skid mount. Here is a link

This will allow you to hang your unit over the edge of the dash. Or you can even mount it to the front of the dash.

Thanks for the reply, but I really don't want any evidence of a GPS in the car, plus I don't want to stick that on my dash because of the problems of removing it in the future.

Thanks, I appreciate the help.
