I love the RAM Mounts, however, the plate will not adhere to a textured dash which is what I need... which mount would be more beneficial? I don't mind the plate staying in more than one vehicle but if I want to move my GPS from vehicle to vehicle - I need the plate to adhere better than what I have tried. I have a Garmin 1350... can you help? Please use my title as the subject in your email so that I can find it even if it goes to my spam folder. Thanks!

Not sure which mount you are referring too in your comments. Is it the product page you posted the question on or the Garmin round dash disk that comes with the nuvi 1350. If it is adhesive most times it is conditioners that cause adhesives not to stick. Make sure you use a solvent (isopropyl) in the area you want to use double sided tape on before applying. This should help remove enough conditioner for the adhesive to properly stick.

If that does not work for your dash then you will need to screw it to the dash and leave a base in each vehicle.

Another option is to buy a Garmin dash mount.
