Hello George,

The power connection does not come on the RAM mount. You will need to take the power connection off the Garmin mount then transfer it to the RAM mount.

how do you transfer the power connector off the garmin unit? what parts are needed to accomplish this?

Hello George, all the parts are on the original mount. You just need to unscrew the power connector and transfer it to the RAM mount. Once you have the product it is easy to accomplish.
