SINCE THE TOMTOM 510 NEEDS THE SUCTION CUP MOUNT TO GET POWER, HOW DOES THIS WORK WITH THE RAM MOUNT SYSTEM?

You need to use the power adapter less the suction cup that comes with the GPS unit.

I have the tomtom 910and it has the original windshield suction cup and power connector. However, the suction cup broke, still have the power connector which is good, how/where this unit mount? Can you mount this Unit on top of the car dash and how does it hold on the dash?

This cradle will require the following RAM suction base and arm along with an adhesive disc or non skid base to mount to the dash.
