GA39 Will Not Fit Unit?

When powered dock is mounted into cradle the top of the powered dock stops the 3790t unit from sitting in the cradle. The top of the power dock hits into the roller on the cradle. Nothing is mentionrd about this on your site or on the ram mount site. Is this a design error? Should I return the cradle or do you have a solution? Please do not tell me I have to ruin the original power dock to make this work.

Hello Keith and ZilT211,

We are currently talking to the manufacturer about a solution to this problem. We have tested and verified the mount does not work. We will make sure all our customers have been taken care of. We will post a solution on our site ASAP.

Hi There. I also just purchased this cradle yesterday and received it today. Unfortunately the roller wheel broke upon trying to insert the power dock....I would like to be made aware of the fix as well.

RAM will be sending our redesigned cradles soon to customers who have received the older style. We are working with RAM to make sure everyone gets a replacement. If you like to know more please give us a call.

The power dock goes above the roller wheel. Not under it. Put the top of the power dock behind and above the roller. Then snap in the bottom over the ball. Snug but it fits.
