I want to buy a Ram mount/cradle for my iPhone 3G. It sit in an Otter Box defender.

My question is will the cradle for the iPhone fit with the box?, 'cause I want to keep it in there...

Hello Serge,
The RAM cradle designed specifically for the iPhone 3G http://www.gpscity.com/ram-mount-apple-iphone-3g-3gs-mount-cradle-ram-hol-ap6u.html will not hold the unit while in the OtterBox case. The cradles have very precise dimensions and fit the iPhones perfectly.
We do carry universal, spring-loaded clamp style cradles as well. These can be used while the iPhone is in the OtterBox case, but they are less secure. You can take a look at the universal cradles here http://www.gpscity.com/search/q=ramholun.

Serge Lemay: Did you find a handlebar mount for your IPhone 3GS while in Otter Box? I have been looking for one to put on my motorcycle but have not found anything that will work.

A friend of mine uses his otter box belt cradle/holster fitted somhow to a RAM mount and a paper ''clip'' (the one you flip the 2 handles to open) for extra hold.

That's the best I've seen yet. The univeral cradle might be a good option but haven't seen it.
