I own a 2008 honda civic dx, I'm 6'2 and though I fit in my car nicely there's isn't much room. Would I be able to install the dual arm laptop and have enough room to comfortably work on the computer?

This laptop mount will mount to the passenger seat, it does not really have any affect on the drivers seat. With that said, unfortunately we don't have any experience with mounting this in a 2008 Honda Civic, so I can't really comment on how well one would fit with it in. On mounts I have used, though, the drivers seat and comfort is not really affected. I would recommend giving it a try, if you are not happy with it you can always return it within 30 days.
