I have been through and returned 3 separate competitor mounts. I have finally came back to the more expensive option RAM. They don't make a no-drill for Toyota Corolla. I was looking at this as cost effective option, but I am worried about running into a shaking problem again while driving.

I do storm chasing as a hobby, occasionally I do drive on bumpy roads, but I am really just wanting to find an option that doesn't rock around while driving.

Thanks in advance!

Hello Rob,

It has three legs so it will be more steady that no drill mounts and single pole laptop mounts. However it will move with the suspension of the car. Car shakes the mount will shake. That will be the same with all mounts but you should not get much amplification in the movement like you would with a single pole mount.

I would suggest getting the screen support to reduce any potential damage to the screen. If you have not already I would also buy a solid state hard-drive for the laptop to replace the one that it ships with to eliminate data corruption due to normal vibration in a vehicle.

Cheers
