I have a Kenwood DNX 6160 in my car and a Kenwood KVT-512 in my truck with a KNA G510. If I purchase 010-10679-13 will it work in both units, and if so can I use the card in either unit depending on which vehicle I am operating at the time?

The Kenwood update cards are preloaded with the complete current version of mapping for North America. The card can be used in multiple devices, but as soon as the card is removed, the updated map data will not be available on that device.

This Q&A was posted on the DVD update for Kenwood products. You need the SD version, please see here:

That SD can be removed and installed between your different Kenwood products. Of course you can only have it installed in one at any time, but moving it between vehicles isn't a problem.
