Is this update compatible for a 2009 Canadian Goldwing?

I see in the specs that this card is for 2008 and earlier. I have a 2009 and the card inside it is marked 2gb CF card. What card should I be ordering. It is a Canadian bike. Thanks

It is possible that the GPS in your 2009 may be from 2008.
The only way to verify it would be to check with your local GoldWing dealer for a part number for the update.
Or register the device with Garmin and check the part number.

I was emailing with Garmin last week. As long as it is CF you are good to go.
There has been a very recent software change to fix a Glitch. The software on the card must be version 4.6 not 4.5.
Can anyone at GPS City verify that the card we would get if ordered would have software version 4.6?

Good info. Julio, I suspect that GPS City orders theses cards from Garmin as they sell them, so it is unlikly that you would order and get a card version 4.5, it would be nice to know for sure though.

There is no way for us to check the version of the cards. We buy direct from Garmin so we have been shipping the latest version they are selling

Jordan, I went to order this card from you today and it says "in stock" I also would want confirmation that this is version 4.6 and not 4.5 before I order. This information is clearly displayed on the card. Please check and confirm so I can get this thing ordered. Thankyou

There is no version written on the card or the packaging other than V2011. I am unable to verify the 4.6 vs 4.5 number you were given. We only sell the latest version of software Garmin is shipping.

Thanks Jordan, don't mean to be a pita but I'm sure you understand my concern. If you folks have had these cards "in stock" for a month or two they may well contain the outdated firmware. Latest mapset is 2012 Ver 4.6 You should have your web page updated to reflect the version you are currently selling.

We sent all our old stock that had issues back months ago. The current version that Garmin is shipping is V2011. We contacted Garmin and they said they have a new version coming out but it is a few weeks away still. When we start to get those updates we will change our page.

Yes, I contacted Garmin and they basically told me the same thing. V2011 is the newest available for a Goldwing. Very confusing for Goldwing owners. Thanks for your patience Jordan. I ordered this today from you folks so I hope it's what I needed.
