We have not had any other customers in Canada with that problem updating their Goldwings in Canada. I have sold many locally here in Calgary. I finally got through to a tech that was able to verify the update will work in Quebec but it will not provide french as a language option. Is that the problem you were having?

no it is not the proble I had. The problem is the update I received o not install on my GPS, I follow step by step what they said but nothing works. I change my GPS language in English and try to install the update, nothing happen. As refer by Jordan, I call Garmin at the number provide by Jordan and accordingly to the guy I talk to at Garmin he told me that the version I had will not be install on my version I had because the last two digit shoud be 24 versus 50 as emntonned later on a previous discission. Now I will like to know what is the next step do I returned the product to GPS city in order to be reimburs or I lose my money on that. I already have RMA number do I proceed or not thanks to confirm and I really apologize for the trouble it cause.

If you give us a call we can pay for the shipping back to us. We apologize about the problem you had we were not aware that the update would not contain french and may cause install problems. The Garmin rep I spoke with did say it should install in English mode but I guess that may not be the case with your bike GPS. When I get the card I will check to see if there is anything I can do to verify it is not defective and a English one would work. I will see if it is possible for us to get the French version that you require. It may take a short while. Feel free to follow up with us.

You can call us for a return waybill at 1-866-477-2489. Please feel free to email us also for a waybill if you prefer to communicate that way.

Hi Jordan
I send today the card via Purolator, your shop should receive on April 5, 2012, I just saw your message so that why I did not call your shop to obtain a return way bill. However if you are able to obtain the French version it will be very appreciate. As the Garmin guy I talk to on April 2nd, 2012, he told me that I should have the CF card 010-10678-24 instead of 010-10678-50, in order to have the French version. If they told me that it should have it in hand. Also if Garmin give the possibility to switch language on GPS I presume that the card they made there should be bilingual??. I change the language on my GPS and try to install it in English but did not work either. So we keep in touch and hope you will be able to have the French version. Thanks for your excellent service Jordan. If you obtain the French version I know some friends will be interested to buy an update. Regards

Garmin has notified us that the update for the French version is a few years behind the English version. Would you still be interested in getting one?
