Is this map update DVD compatible with a Garmin i3 unit? I currently use City Select North America NT v7.0 and was hoping to upgrade to the 2008 maps. I also use a 2GB transflash card to hold the entire North America map. This GPS is not pre-loaded.

Hello Mark,

The Garmin Nuvi i3 can not be updated with the current updates. The map update you found is no longer in use. I will have to ask you to contact Garmin to see if they will unlock it to your unit for you. Here is Garmins number 1-800-800-1020. You can also enter the serial number of your product on their site and they will let you know the proper update.
