I would like to know if this sd card will work in my 2009 Honda Goldwing?
I have the 2008 card now and need to update. Thanks Bob

Hello Bob,

Can you provide us more information on what GPS you are using? This Card will work for Garmin units that use Garmin NT mapping.

I am wondering whether I can use this SD card in a Nuvi 250 that has pre installed software. How does one override the preinstalled software if using the new SD card? I already have an SD card for Europe, which of course I would have to take out when using the new North America card.

Hello Alison,

This is not an update for the Nuvi 250. The update is the following and you will not need to worry about the internal maps because it will overwrite them. Here is the link.

As for the Europe card you dont need to turn off the North American maps. Europe can be used as soon as the card is put in. You have to tell the unit you are in Europe in order to search points in Europe.
