I have purchased and activated the card. Will I be notified when there is an update to the maps on my Nuvi265WT or how will I know if an update is available? Current version installed is North America NT 2011.10.

Now that the lifetime update card is activated do I use the same product key for each available update(4 per year)?

Hi Dale,

You will not be notified if a new update is available. You will need to login to your my.garmin.com account to check if there are updates available.

Yes, you will use the same product key to download the updates.
