I purchased and registered my Garmin Zumo 660 in February of this year. I purchased on line the nuMaps Lifetime Update Card from GPS City on 2010-05-26. Order #: 519369, I then received the card via mail at home. I did not immediately activate it as I had a free map update from the original purchase. Today I logged onto MyGarmin and tried to activate the Update Card I purchased from you but there is no Product Key Number in the box ajacent to the Green Product Key box on the back of the card. There are Black & Grey scroll patterns in this box. Below that is the number 171-00398-01. I tried entering this number in the Product Key box on line but received an error message
" The product key you entered does not match our records. Please check the code and try again".
Can you please advise me how to activate my nuMaps Lifetime Update Card so that I can download the updated maps for my Zumo 660.

The product key code is hidden under the black & grey patterns just like a scratch card. Take your finger nail and lightly scratch off the black and grey material and the product key will be revealed. Enter this number to activate the lifetime update.

we received a card for the garmin nuvi and it has no instructions on how to use the card or how to install the new updates. could you please send instructions or something on how to do this. we have a windows 7 dell comp. thanks.

The instructions are written on the back of the update card we also have links on the overview page to instructions. Here is a link to a PDF with instructions at the bottom of this reply. As you go through the process the update will provide a wizard. Just follow the step by step instructions and you will be fine.

why every time a need to update my life time numaps i have so much trouble???

i had as garmin gps it got stolen just recently i have the lifetime warranty card there are numbers at the botttom would they match the vin number on the gps to help the police?

You can provide your serial number to the local police to see if that will assist them

If the GPS was registered with Garmin, log into your Garmin account (at my.garmin.com) and the serial number will be shown under the "myproducts" tab.
